Concept

Sub-Earth is a first-person virtual reality game for HTC Vive and PC, set in a futuristic colony at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Players will navigate an immersive underwater environment, observing their surroundings in order to solve problems and make it safely back to the Sub-Earth Technologies base camp.

Sub-Earth will make full use of virtual reality technology to create a believable underwater adventure experience unlike any game currently on the market.

Sub-Earth is set in the year 2086. As changes in the climate have made the surface of the earth increasingly hostile to life, mankind struggles to survive. In an effort to secure humanity’s future, a group of engineers, oceanographers, and ex-military personnel have pooled their resources to establish SUB-EARTH Technologies, an organization dedicated to rebuilding civilization on the ocean floor
